Jenna and Nick’s spring engagement at Cronan Ranch was one of those sessions that felt natural from the start. The weather was perfect—sunny, with a light breeze and not too hot. We didn’t bring any props or plan anything too detailed. Just an open field, soft spring colors, and a couple ready to soak it all in. The ranch was starting to come alive again after winter. The grass was green, the wildflowers were beginning to show, and everything felt fresh. It was the ideal backdrop without needing to do much at all.
What stood out most was how Jenna and Nick interacted. They didn’t try to pose too much. Instead, they focused on each other and forgot the camera was even there. Those in-between moments—laughing, walking hand in hand, or just pausing to talk—are where the best images came from. One of my favorite parts was watching them get comfortable just being together. Nick would pull Jenna in close, and she’d light up every time. It wasn’t forced or rehearsed. It was real and honest.
This spring engagement at Cronan Ranch wasn’t about getting the “perfect shot.” It was about taking time to enjoy this season of life. Wedding planning can be busy and overwhelming. This session gave them a chance to slow down and just be present with each other. That’s what makes sessions like this so special. It’s not just about photos—it’s about capturing something real. Jenna and Nick brought all the love and connection, and Cronan Ranch gave us the perfect place to let that shine.

“If I could give Alicia a million star review I would!!! I feel honored that she captured our engagement photos and wedding day. Alicia is incredibly talented, organized, and communicative (in addition being amazingly kind and fun)! My husband and I thought we might feel a little awkward in front of the camera, but Leash makes her clients feel so comfortable and provides wonderful direction during her sessions. I have loved working with Alicia, and I cannot recommend her more highly!”
