I recently had the best time shooting Danie and Alex’s Bodega Bay engagement session! If you haven’t been there, it’s basically this gorgeous spot along the Northern California coast that you need to check out!! It’s one of my favorite spots to this day.

The weather was kinda overcast, but honestly, it added this cool vibe to the whole shoot. Not too gloomy, just the right amount of cloudy to make everything look super pretty and relaxed. We started off with Danie and Alex just wandering along the beach. They were so cute together, laughing and joking around like no one was watching. I could seriously feel their chemistry, it was everything!

One highlight had to be when Alex picked Danie up and spun her around. It was like something out of a movie, with birds flying around them and the waves crashing in the background. So adorable! Their outfit game was on point, too. Danie’s flowy white dress was perfect for the beach, and Alex’s sweater gave off all the cozy vibes. Everything just clicked with the natural colors of the sand and water.

As we kept shooting, they got even more into it, almost forgetting I was there, which was perfect because that’s when the best shots happen. We wrapped things up just as the sky started to glow with a soft light, giving us those dreamy golden hour feels. Danie and Alex stood by the water, soaking it all in. Such a great ending to the day.

Photographing these two was seriously a blast. Their love is so genuine, and Bodega Bay was the perfect backdrop. Can’t wait for more sessions like this one! If you’d like to see a glimpse into their day, keep on scrolling for more.
